Jess VanAllen is a writer from the cornfields of Indiana. She is currently pursuing her MFA in Fiction at Boston University, where she serves as the Leslie Epstein Fellow for 2024/2025. She has worked with writers such as Ha Jin, Jennifer Haigh, and Mitchell Zuckoff. Her work primarily focuses on female desire and rage, but she is interested in all things obscene, unladylike, and aquatic.
